Ambassadors

Becoming an Ambassador is easy. To start, demonstrate your willingness to participate in the Chamber Ambassador program by attending and volunteering at Chamber events. This practice makes you visible to current Ambassadors, Chamber staff, and Board Members, all of whom are involved in selecting new Ambassadors.

• Be a member of the Campbell Chamber in good standing
• Assist at four or more major events yearly (festivals, golf tournament, Community Toy Drive, etc.)
• Complete a three-month training period to determine if participation in the program is right for you
• Review and understand Chamber membership materials with an emphasis on member benefits
• Review and comprehend information on the Chamber website
• Acquaint yourself with Chamber staff, Board of Directors, and other members of the Ambassador team
• Attend a one-hour information session with the Executive Director and Chamber staff to learn more about the facts and workings of the Chamber

The Campbell Chamber of Commerce is a membership-focused organization. The Chamber's Mission is to be the preeminent voice for promoting the community of Campbell in all its aspects.

• Promote the development of an atmosphere in which the business community is allowed and encouraged to thrive
• Advocate business member concerns to local, regional, state, and national legislative and regulatory bodies
• Promote those events and programs which will enhance the community and identity of Campbell
• Be a focal point for fostering the cooperation between the city, our members, the community, and the residents of Campbell

• We are an enthusiastic, fun group of Chamber members who help promote and advance the Mission of the Campbell Chamber of Commerce in addition to its services and programs.
• Ambassadors help facilitate the networking of other members and contribute to the Chamber's success while building their valuable business network. Ambassadors represent the Chamber by volunteering their time at Chamber events, such as Mixers, Ribbon Cuttings, Celebrate Campbell Awards, Boogie: Campbell's Music Festival, Relay for Life, Annual Golf Tournament, Oktoberfest, Monthly and Power Networking lunches and the Ambassador Mixer. All of these successful events benefit from strong Ambassador involvement.
• Ambassadors are crucial to the Chamber's membership retention and expansion program. Ambassadors contact Chamber members as needed under the direction of staff, approach potential members throughout the year to help them understand the Chamber's role in the community and how they can maximize the many benefits of their membership, and to stress the importance of being actively involved in Chamber events and programs.
• Finally, Ambassadors are a vital communications link between Chamber staff, Board Officers, and members, providing valuable feedback to assist in the development of Chamber initiatives. Ambassadors are highly respected for their contributions.
